Here at Rhythm Foundry we pride ourselves on our dedicated tutoring staff who are experts in their own field. All of our staff are professional musicians and have the capabilities to take your playing to the next level.

Dean

Dean has achieved his Grade 8 Drumming certificate in LCM and Rockschool, and has 25 years of teaching experience. Dean studied drumming for 10 years with Luke Flowers and 10 years with Dave Hassell. He worked for three years as the Drum Tutor for at Stoke College before founding Rhythm Foundry in 2005.

James

James has a First Class Honours Master's Degree in Music and specialises in music for Film, Video Games, and Indian Culture. He also offers classes in Composition and Analysis, as well as jazz classes for the more advanced players.

Izzy

Izzy studied music at the University of Huddersfield and works as a classroom and instrumental teacher. She also regularly performs with Stafford Sinfonia and a local wind orchestra.

Dan

Dan studied Music Performance at college whilst completing his Drum grades and later went off to study music at MMU. Dan has performed with many original artists/projects in and out of the local area and remains active on the local music scene.

Julia

Julia is a singer and songwriter, performing solo and with her band on the local music scene. She loves performing, creating and sharing the love of music. Her formal qualifications are: LCM Grade 8 Popular Music Vocals, a BA in Popular Music and an MA in Contemporary Arts from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Jordan

Jordan studied Music Tech at NULC before going to University to study Music Performance at BIMM Manchester. In his spare time he drums in his original band - Lost Notes as well as working with various singers/songwriters in Manchester.

Wayne

Wayne studied Music in Performing Arts and Sound Engineering. He has been playing guitar for nearly 30 years and currently plays in a successful covers/original band called Eaton Park based in Stoke on Trent. He has played all over the country supporting The Doves and Mungo Gerry and has been supported by The Coral.

Luke

Luke has played drums and piano from a very young age and studied Music and Performing Arts at Stoke-on-Trent college. During his time at college he played drums for the UK's first amateur production of the Phantom of the Opera and has since played in the orchestra pit for a number of pantomimes. He has been Musical Director for shows such as The Likes Of Us and The Day War Broke Out.
